hi i’ve recently come across 1 of these machines myself unfortunately it has not got the casing around the needle area to stop the needle from falling out as i have no idea about this machine i was hoping you would kindly give me an idea where i could get 1 of these or if i could use any kind of 1 like a universal 1? thankyou ever so much kind regards james

I’m sorry your sauce met with failure. I’ve been looking up highbush cranberries on the internet and from what I understand American Highbush are delicious when made into sauce but the European are dreadful. They are impossible, apparently, to tell apart except by taste. You might have gotten the European Highbush. I’m making sauce up right now and hope I have the American kind, otherwise I guess the foot smell is all for naught.

Excellent tips! I have two meadows full of it – the monarchs do love it. Next summer, I am harvesting the pods and drying out the stems for the bast in there. I will save the seeds, and anyone who wants seeds can email me. Just pay for the shipping (probably just a stamp) and I’ll send them out.

Great shots! I went to the Byward market today and also took pics! the veggies and flowers are so colorful and the hustle and bustle of that location just makes me smile!

Aren’t we lucky to have these two markets just a short distance away and have the ability to shop local and enjoy the atmosphere! thanks for sharing your pics!

Wow Meg – great post! I never really saw a company as a person, and I like that point of view! Very insightful. It’s also very refreshing to read about someone’s job and see PASSION in between the sentences.
